CR Guitars starts off with a Limited Model OD2r-'E'....

We are just working with a new very exclusive Dealer in New York,  CR Guitars, run by Craig Snyder. Craig wants to start off with a  limited model and gave me free rein to do whatever I wanted, which is always fun. As an avid classic car owner and owner of a Jaguar E-Type I wanted to inject some of that 60's British motoring style in to the aesthetic of this model. From it's baby blue color to the respectful use of chrome and polished walnut, its all there. The amp will be fitted with all NOS tubes from the 60's and to add that final touch an actual piece of trim from an E-Type will be seen on the front of the amp !! Looking forward to this project. I will give updates as it progresses.

Two Exciting New amp Models....

Trip-R - The first is the Trip-R (love that name!!). This amp has all the functionality and tonal signatures of the Triptik but in a lower power cathode biased package following in the same lines as the highly successful OD2r and OD3r models. It can be run as 25W with EL34'sa or 17W with 6V6's. Prices start at  $2795.00.

HS-2 - Home/Studio 2 channels

 Due to an increased demand from both Customers and Dealers to make a lower priced amp designed for mainly home use, I have come up with a prototype for the HS-2. It’s a basic 2 channel (Clean-Slightly Driven / Overdrive) amp with separate 3 band eq and masters on each channel. The same quality components and build methods used on the other amps are used on this. It will feature a slightly different cab and front panel aesthetic and the design goal is to keep it simple but flexible. Tonally you’ll know it’s one of ours !! This amp will also be suited with small club gigs too !! Price start at $1995.00

Dan Spitz

We are very proud to have the legendary founder member of Anthrax, Dan Spitz' on board using our amps. Dan came across our amps at a studio he was recording in and used an OD2 for an entire album session. He contacted me and I built him his own model, the DS-100.
